Care Instructions:

Initial assembly, cleaning, and firing.

  • See Assembly Instructions (below) for the proper assembly method. A minimum of two people are required to assemble the grill to avoid injury and damage.

  • Check the castors tire pressure. Make sure they are fully inflated to recommend spec.

  • Use a good dish soap with a sponge and thoroughly wash all cooking surfaces of the grill. Remove all dirt and oils left from the manufacturing process and shipping.

  • If preferred all items that fit can be cleaned in a dishwasher

  • For the initial firing of your grill we recommend slowly building heat. Then spread the coals out over the entire surface of the grill to evenly bring the grill up to temperature. Then cook away!

After initial firing (Your grill will get dirty and discoloration will happen)

  • To clean, wash the whole grill down with a hose and dish soap. Scrub with a sponge or rag. Treat this grill like you would a high end stainless pan.

  • All of the components of this grill are dishwasher safe. This may be the most effective way to clean your griddles & grates.

  • For difficult to remove burnt stains soak with soap and water then scrub. Keep in mind aggressive scrub pads will put light scratches on the surface. You can achieve a brushed satin finish with long constant strokes with the abrasive pad. Always brush with any existing grain. Avoid using steel wool or any steel scrub pads.

  • We do not recommend using any other chemicals than dish soap. Aggressive chemicals along with multiple heat cycles can cause artificial rusting.

  • The grill can be stored out in the elements with no ill effect however we recommend covering it to keep it clean.

  • The old ash can add insulation to the new coals for a more efficient use of coals. The   ash can be left in the base between short periods of cooking. However for long periods between cooks and/or if ash will get wet, we recommend disposing of the ash.

Do Not’s:

  •  Do not move the grates once the fire has been lit unless using proper heat resistant gloves.

  • Do not rush to get to cooking. The longer you burn down the coals the better it will work and more control you will have over your cook surface. While you can cook on the grill almost instantly. We recommend waiting a minimum of 30 mins.

  •  Do not use this grill in high winds or during burn bans

  •  Do not use any treated wood or woods that are not safe to cook over. Know your fuel source. We recommend quality dry hardwoods and charcoal. Never use accelerants such as lighter fluid.

  • Do not use harsh chemicals or bleach to clean your stainless. Doing so will cause artificial rusting and may be hazardous to cook on.

  • Always use outside. Never use indoors, garages or on decks.

  • Keep all combustible materials away from the grill when in use.
